Merge settings


  • Cluster size - Defines the square size of a cluster in tiles.

  • Multi material mesh - if true TileWorldCreator generates a multi material mesh instead of a mesh for each shared material.
  • Add mesh collider - Add a mesh collider to the resulting merged mesh.

TileWorldCreator can merge your builded map into clusters. Instantiated tiles are grouped into bigger cluster groups. This cluster groups can be merged into a single mesh to reduce drawcalls.

Please note:
Its possible that you will get an error message when merging your map, because the resulting mesh of a merged cluster exceeds the vertex count limit of Unity. In this case it is recommended to activate the **automatic** option. This way TileWorldCreator will set the size of the cluster according to your tile prefabs automatically.
